(Watch) MS Dhoni break the Dance Floor at Pant Sister’s Wedding in Mussoorie

Cricket and celebrations go hand in hand, evident at the wedding of Indian wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant’s sister, Sakshi Pant, in Mussoorie. The grand function saw the presence of former Indian cricket team captain MS Dhoni, his longtime teammate and best friend Suresh Raina, along with several close friends and family members. But the centre of attraction was Dhoni’s dance. In a viral video, Dhoni dances with Pant and Raina on the Bollywood classic Dama Dam Mast Kalandar.

Sakshi Pant, who had announced her engagement to Ankit Choudhary in January last year, tied the knot in a traditional ceremony surrounded by loved ones. The couple had been together for nine years before deciding to take the next step in their journey.

Adding to the charm of the wedding function, Dhoni, along with his wife Sakshi, made a special appearance. Raina, who shared a close bond with Dhoni, also joined the celebrations, making it a reunion of sorts for cricket fans.

Even amidst the celebrations after winning the Champions Trophy, cricket remains a top priority. Rishabh Pant will now focus on leading Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in IPL 2025. Director of team  Zaheer Khan and head coach Justin Langer Pant will aim to take LSG to win the maiden IPL title in the upcoming season, which begins on March 22. Still, LSG will play its first match against its former team, Delhi Capitals, on 24 March 2025 at Vishakapatnam.

Meanwhile, MS Dhoni has joined Chennai Super Kings (CSK) training camp, gearing up for what could be his final IPL season. Though speculation about his retirement has been ongoing since he stepped away from international cricket in 2020, CSK has retained him as an uncapped player for ₹4 crore under the IPL’s updated retention rules.
