RCB’s win was built on a brilliant bowling performance by their spin duo of Sophie Molineux and Shreyanka Patil, who together claimed a staggering seven wickets. The chase, led by a composed 35-run knock from Ellyse Perry, was a mere formality for RCB.

The celebrations extended beyond the field. In a heartwarming moment, Virat Kohli, a star player for the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) men’s team, was seen video calling Smriti Mandhana, captain of the RCB women’s team, to congratulate her and the entire team on their well-deserved victory. This gesture highlights the growing camaraderie and support within the RCB franchise across genders.
