Lucknow Super Giants Best Playing XI for IPL 2026 After Auction

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) strengthened their squad at the IPL 2026 auction held in Abu Dhabi with a focused strategy, adding three overseas players along with a couple of Indian talents. Rather than a complete overhaul, LSG targeted specific gaps to improve balance and depth across departments.

The franchise made headlines by securing Australian wicketkeeper-batter Josh Inglis for ₹8.6 crore after a competitive bidding war with Sunrisers Hyderabad. In addition, LSG picked up Anrich Nortje and Wanindu Hasaranga at their base prices, significantly boosting their pace and spin resources.
